The current Chagrin Falls Middle School was constructed in 1999 to serve students in seventh and eighth grades. The new school replaced the former Lewis Sands Elementary School, which was demolished to make room for the updated educational facility.

Several portions of the original Lewis Sands School were preserved and incorporated into the new building. These included the multipurpose room, the Board of Education area, and other sections of the former school, maintaining a connection to the building’s history.

Today, Chagrin Falls Middle School provides dedicated educational and recreational spaces for middle school students. The facility includes its own gymnasium and is physically connected to Chagrin Falls High School, allowing the two schools to share a connected campus.

The Chagrin Falls Performing Arts Center (PAC) was dedicated in 2007, adding an important cultural and educational resource to the school campus.

The Performing Arts Center provides a venue for a variety of events, including school plays, musicals, and other performances. It supports the performing arts programs of the Chagrin Falls school community while offering students opportunities to develop their artistic talents and showcase their work.

Together, Chagrin Falls Middle School and the Performing Arts Center play an important role in the educational and cultural life of the Chagrin Falls community.
