Our Mission
The mission of the CHAGRIN HISTORY CENTER is to discover, preserve and share evidence of and knowledge about the history of Chagrin Falls and vicinity. The Center does this to enable all who live, work, and visit the area to appreciate its past, understand its present, and plan for its future.
The Chagrin History Center invites the community to discover the stories woven into the places, people, and traditions that have shaped Chagrin Falls and its surrounding communities. Through its collections, exhibits, programs, and the memories generously shared by those who have called this area home, the Center offers a window into the past and a deeper appreciation for the community we share today. Whether tracing a family history, rediscovering a familiar place, or simply curious about the stories of the Chagrin Valley, visitors are encouraged to explore, reflect, and add their own memories to our living history.
