This building has been a hardware store since 1857. It was also the Masonic Hall until the larger Golden Gate lodge was built in 1924

IOOF Building
This building was built in 1860’s and was the home of the Independent Order of Oddfellows (IOOF). It was home of the Chagrin Falls Fire Department from 1897 to 1939.

This building was built in 1870 as a stove and tinware shop.in 1885, it was the home of the Grand Army of the Republic (G.A.R.). Those initials are still on the top.

This building is part of the Phoenix Block. The Phoenix Block is made up of 4 brick buildings and was built in 1868 after a terrible fire destroyed the entire wooden block that was here.

Known as the Popcorn Shop, this building was built in 1874 as a sales office for a gristmill that was located just south of this building. It is built on top of the natural falls and has been selling popcorn since 1949.

A small wooden frame shoe store was originally at this location. It was moved in 1875 and is now the location of Dave’s Cosmic subs. The shore store was replaced by a dry goods store in 1875. In 1910, this beautiful brick building was constructed.

This is the home of the Chagrin Valley Little Theater. It was built in 1949.

This building was built in 1884 by Charles Cole as a Billard room. The cross sticks on the front represent cue sticks.

A mill was originally at this location. Over the years it has been owned by multiple people and manufactured many different products. It has been a restaurant for many years now.
